Notifications

Warning

Don't use notifications for marketing. Many regions regulate unsolicited marketing by push notification, and attendees generally only agree to messages about events they signed up for.

Notifications are short messages to attendees before and during an event. Open Notifications in your event to write and send one. Team members need the "Send notifications" permission.

Use them for practical updates. For example, a conference might send "Check-in opens at the Congress center ar 11 AM. Please bring photo identification with you."

Delivery

Klipspringer delivers notifications through Google Wallet, or through the browser (if the attendee subscribed). Attendees who did neither won't receive them. You should share critical information in other ways too.
