Klipspringer processes attendee data in the United States.

Cookies

Klipspringer only uses a single cookie, kl_sid, which is used to maintain an active session, keep users logged in, and to store the user's shopping cart. Such cookies are classified as strictly necessary cookies within the meaning of Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, and therefore do not require the display of a consent banner.

Your payment provider may add additional cookies. Stripe does this, for example.

Data controller

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you, as the event organiser, act as the Data Controller, determining the means and purposes of processing personal data. Klipspringer acts as your Data Processor, processing personal data solely on your behalf and in accordance with your documented instructions.

Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR)

Klipspringer has attendee data across various features. The "Personal data report" feature allows you to generate a PDF file of all of the personal information for an attendee. It may be accessed by visiting Organizational Dashboard → Attendees → [Attendee Name] → Download PDF Report.

Removal or correction of data

You can modify the data of attendees from the dashboard. Klipspringer also allows the attendee to edit their data if the profile is not locked.

When an event is over, Klipspringer will allow you to scrub all personal information relating to an event. You can also anonymize or delete a specific attendee, although it won't remove their orders.
